Bullshit!

Our PM of Malaysia told us that we need changes.
Changes to increase our average wages,
and
in turn improve our standards of living.
He said our coming nationally financial budget (that's financial budget of 2011) would be the turning point of our economy.

Well,
he sounds so transformational.
Unfortunately,
the report that he presented few days ago,
I could just say,
'Bullshit!'
The following sections would illustrates the flaws of this BULLSHIT this latest financial budget.

IT IS ABOUT FAIRNESS!
In his report, it mentions that all government servants would be rewarded RM500 REGARDLESS OF THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THEIR DUTIES!
Obviously,
this distributive injustice is not encouraging efficiency.
Notably, our government has promised us to enhance the fairness and the efficiency of the overall society.
Think about the financial budget and consider:
Whether has the government walked to its talk?

Also, this report announces that the reduction of taxes of luxury goods,
whilst increasing the service tax to offset the reduction.
Apparently,
there is another serious tax injustice.
Well,
I know you guys have heard about Robin Hood's story.
He looted the rich for the poor.
However, I have never heard Robin Hood looted the poor for the rich.
In ethical sense,
it is obivously unfair for those poor to pay more taxes to subsidy the rich!

ANOTHER WHITE ELEPHANT?
Government said we are lacking of money.
That is why it is imperative to cut public subsidies, such as petrol subsidy, sugar subsidy and others.
I totally understand the point of reduction.
The purpose is to reduce the dependency of the nations toward government and in turn improve the competitiveness.
BUT,
it does not serve as the ground for increasing the subsidies on developing the white elephant project.
I couldn't really foresee any benefit of spending of RM 5 billion for the 100-level building in KL.
There will not be a substantial increase in the number of tourists after the development of the building.
Although, technically, spending money on development would stimulate the economy, it does not mean the any stimulation would work practically.
Instead of spending 5billion dollars on this white elephant,
perhaps it should use this money to invest on education to strengthen the knowledge of the citizens and in turn enhance the national human capital, which is crucial for the success of the nation in global stage.
Clearly,
it shows the incompetency of the senior-level executives within the public sector.
Or else,
it shows the corruptibilitty of  these people  that only care about their wallets as they intentionally choose to build white elephant, although they know there are always other better alternatives for them to choose.

BULLSHIT!
Regretly,
this financial budget is shit worse than many assignments practised by the students majoring in economics.
Even a management student like me also can generate a sound more reasonable proposal than the government one.
SO IT IS JUST A BULLSHIT!
